This set of four hand coloured lino prints, features the George Baldessin ‘Pear’ sculpture in the forecourt of the NGA (before it was moved). I have used colours drawn from Andy Warhol’s ‘Marilyn Monroe’ screen prints.
In 2017 number 2/4 (pink pears) was awarded a Highly Commended at the Waverley Art Prize 2017. The judges were artist Wendy Sharpe and gallery director William Sturrock.
The four are individually framed in white box frames 50 x 50 cm.
